Below are the questions the host will randomly choose from to ask the non-profit (ie. The Benefactor) about the guest on Small Business Celebration.

  1. What problem does the customer of the guest experiencing that the guest solves?
  2. What changed in the guest’s life motivated them to start their own business?
  3. What was the first thing or service the guest sold as a child?
  4. What was the first major sale for the guest?
  5. What was the thing that legitimized the guest’s business and made the guest think, “I can do this!”
  6. When the guest started their business, who helped lend credibility to the guest so that others knew the guest was of value?
  7. What major event in the guest’s life that affects the decisions the guest makes today?
  8. What is the guest doing in the business to achieve financial sustainability?
  9. What about your personality have your customers told you that you’re really good at?
  10. What was your life like before you started your business?
  11. When you started your business, what was at stake if it failed?
  12. How did you earn your first 100 clients / customers?
  13. In the last five years, what new belief, behavior, or habit as improved your life?
  14. What are bad recommendations do you hear about your profession?
  15. When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused (or have lost focus temporarily), what do you do?
  16. What have you gotten better at saying “No” to?
  17. How is your business your calling?
  18. Have you achieved your original vision of success?
  19. How has your business changed you personally or emotionally?

The Rules to The Benefactor Game!

  1. Each question about the guest is asked by the show’s host to the non-profit. For each question the non-profit gets correct about the guest, the non-profit is awarded prize money. The first correct answer award is $100, the second answer is $200, the third answer is $300. For the non-profit to win a total of $1,000, the non-profit must get the first three answers correct before answering the “bonus question” worth $400. Once all four questions are answered correctly, the non-profit wins $1,000.
  2. Prior to the non-profit’s appearance on Small Business Celebration, a representative from Small Business Celebration, LLC. will email both the episode guest and the non-profit “A List Of Questions.” Each question is numbered.
  3. Prior to the appearance of the guest and the non-profit on their episode of Small Business Celebration, both the guest and the non-profit representative are highly encouraged to discuss the answers to the “A List Of Questions,” however, any written or pre-recorded format of the answers are not allowed to be used during the recording of the episode.
  4. During the recording of the episode, the Small Business Celebration host will have a random number generator on his phone. He will have the generator randomly choose the number, and that number will correlate to the question he will ask the non-profit to answer about the guest.
  5. The guest will confirm, deny, or elaborate on the non-profit’s answer.
  6. The host will confirm if the answer given is satisfactory for the monetary winnings award.
  7. The amount of answers given correctly is the amount won by the non-profit.
